This bike is an ideal all-rounder for kids around 140-155cm tall that want to develop their skills in every direction. With a lighter set of tires, this bike can be used as an everyday XC / trail bike. If you are planning a weekend trip to the bike park, just mount more capable rubber and you can shred the downhill tracks with confidence. The development of the junior & youth category is personally overlooked by our CEO and the NS junior test riders. The whole team started on the smaller bikes with 24” wheels, then switched to 26” and are now riding the 27.5” bikes. One of the key things we noticed during the process of developing the range was that most young riders are on bikes with old-school geometry and wheels that are too small. It was crystal clear that our test riders felt more confident on bikes with modern geometry and wheels that are bigger than the industry standard for their age and height group. Of course, the geometry needs to be designed to accommodate the additional height that results from this to avoid putting the rider too high up from the ground. The BB, stand-over and cockpit must be as low as possible. Other fit features including crank length, saddle shape, and the resulting riding position have been considered.
