Sam Pilgrim NS Bikes Majesty

Sam Pilgrim NS Bikes Majesty

Sam Pilgrim signed a full sponsorship contract with NS Bikes in the beginning of 2011. Since that day he has been riding on various NS Majesty frames over the last year taking them to the podium on most of the FMB World Tour and several other events.

This might be a surprise for some of you to hear that Sam chose to use the Park version of Majesty. Compared to the Slope version, this frame has a steeper head angle and slightly higher BB. This seems to match Sam’s riding style perfectly. The compact geometry is ideal for shredding dirt jumps and parks like Woodward West. Of course the frame is not so stable on really big and fast tracks, but apparently Sam's technique is so good that he accepts this trade off.

When compared to the Dirt version, the Majesty Park has a top tube that is 22mm (0.9”) shorter, a 27mm (1,1”) higher BB, a 7mm (0.3”) shorter CS and is great for low travel forks with up to around 110mm travel. A steeper head angle with lower forks makes front wheel tricks such as front manual much easier. A shorter top tube & very compact rear end makes the bike spin much easier.

The Campy spec 45/45 integrated headset standard is strong and looks clean. The Majesty Park has a Spanish BB making it fit for any high-end bmx crankset on the market. Sam has been using our very light Octane One 2PCS crankset for most of the season and it became a standard in his every next bike we prepared for him. Sam also owns one of the very first prototypes of new Octane One Chemical Pro 2012 stems.

The Majesty is mainly known from it’s amazing strength to weight ratio. Only 2.15kg but stronger than any other frame in our line. The secret is the high-end custom tubeset with offset multi butting and a rarely seen, full heat treatment process after welding. This technology, matched with attention to detail in design, perfect tube fitting and welding quality allowed us to make one of the lightest and strongest dirt jumping frames on the market. Simple, classic looks but high-end spec & tech inside. Stay true!

Sam took his Majesty Park to almost every event in the 2011 calendar. From the mighty Boneyard in Whistler during the Crankworx event to the Red Bull Joyride in Nuremberg, Germany. The impressive winning streak from the beginning of the season and the win in the last event in Germany gave him the 3rd place in the FMB World Tour 2011 overall.

This list of Sam’s 2011 season’s highlights is a proof that we don’t joke by saying that our Majesty frame was on the podiums of the world’s most demanding dirt and slopestyle events more often than any other manufacturers frame:

2011: 1st Red Bull District Ride, Nurnberg (GER)

2011: 1st Eurobike Dirt Competition, Friedrichshafen (GER)

2011: 1st Monster Energy Slopestyle, Basel (CH)

2011: 3rd Crankworx Colorado, Colorado (USA)

2011: 1st Rocket Air Slopestyle, Thun (CH)

2011: 1st Monster Energy White Style, Leogang (AUT)

2012: season started also pretty good for Sam who won FISE Costa Rica and Vienna Air King.

We shouldn't forget about our former team rider Martin Söderström, who took a major role in the development of the Majesty frame and took it to the podiums in 2010.

Since the very beginning our top of the line product has been widely featured and rewarded in media all round the world including Dirt Magazine’s Dirt 100 ranking in which it was featured twice in a row.
