OUR ANSWER

I am very very interested in the NS Suburban frame, but there are some things that turn me away from it. On the site, it doesn't state that it is being post weld heat treated like the NS Majesty. Being not heat treated/stress relieved I am just afraid that it might crack near some of the welds or isn't this a worry to you guys? What other cro-mo frames do you people know that aren't heat treated ?

Actually there is only a FEW steel frames out there that DO have post weld heat treated tubes. You probably won't find too many frames below 500 euro with this process. That's why most cro-mo frame makers don't state anything. This process is used only on the very high end - lightweight frames like the Majesty. The Suburban has enough material in the tubes that it does not need any special treatment. Of course it's heavier than the Majesty, but still very acceptable weight.
