We caught Sławek Łukasik shortly after his return from Croatia to get you this first ever NS Bikes downhill post race report:

The race in Croatia was a really good test both for me and my brand new Fuzz. In the pre-season I have been using the prototype frame and I was really looking forward to get my hands on the final version of the Fuzz.

The course was really demanding and full of tricky sections with sharp rocks. During two training days I ended up with more punctures than I had in the whole 2013 season.

With a bit of luck I managed to finish my final run with no problems on 3rd place with only 0,8 seconds behind the winner. Pretty good for the first race on a brand new bike! The Fuzz felt really good right from the first run. The suspension was eating up all the drops and rocks perfectly.

After grabbing the 3rd place in the first UDI C1 DH race of the season on the Croatian island of Lošinj I feel happy and really confident. The next UCI C1 DH race will take place in Wisla, Poland right after the Easter break. I am looking forward to this event as this is my local course and I will finally have a chance to race with my NS team mates.

After the race weekend in Wisła I will be focusing on the international events in the European and World Cup series.
