As you know, the second half of the World Cup season is right at our door. Sam and Phil will enter both World Cups on North American soil. While Phil opted to spend his last weekend home before a 4 week racing journey, Sam decided to go race the Camp Fortune Ontario Cup and brought along our U17 rider Lucas. Since 2014 is Lucas's first year racing, he had never been to Camp Fortune. But after doing a couple of laps riding with Sam, they both felt at home on this short rocky track.
On Sunday, Lucas ended in 4th place. On the Pro side, Sam was able to beat by two seconds Kyle Sangers, the only rider that beat him three weeks ago in British Columbia. Now that Sam brought back the Canada Cup's leader jersey after a 9000 km trip, he is hungrier than ever for the next two rounds of the World Cups.
