The only FMB World Tour 2013 event to take place in New Zealand is coming really soon. Our team will be represented by Sam Pilgrim.
Heading into its second year and first with its silver status accreditation and place on the FMB world tour. Teva Slopestyle has attracted some of the best riders in New Zealand and across the globe. More than 20+ riders gathering for this unique event to compete for the $10,000 prize pool on offer as part of Queenstown Bike Festival.
This year, Teva welcomes back crowd favourite Sam Dueck, last year's runner up Conor McFarlane along with Benny Phillips who took out last year's event with some huge tricks.
On top of these three world class riders, Teva has brought in some of the biggest names from the international roster including: Kurt Sorge winner of the 2012 Red Bull Rampage and Sam Pilgrim who achieved five 1st places last year. Toss in BMX crossover Chad Kagy and that is a line-up to get excited about.
With construction and design well underway by Teva athlete and New Zealand local Kelly McGarry, you can be sure that this will be an awesome course. On top of constructing last year's course, he has also been involved in constructing the infamous Crankworx in Whistler and Colorado.
