Since it's introduction in 2014 the Eccentric have become a weapon of choice for riders looking for a tough trail hardtail bike. It's looks and simplicity as well as the ability to cover a lot of ground from epic all-day trips to pumptrack sessions and everything else make it a perfect do it all bike.
The heart of the bike is a high-end cromoly frame built using Tange Eccentric cromoly tubes that have been developed over the years for our dirt-jump bikes. The result is an incredibly strong yet light hardtail for aggressive trail riding. It's designed around 650B wheels and a 142x12 hub.
The weight of the frame is approximately 2.4kg which is light by any standards, but don't worry, it's strong enough to hold up to a lot of abuse. All the know-how that NS has managed to acquire over the years in building steel hardtails has been funnelled into the frame of this bike and it really is the very best money can buy. The complete bike is fitted with a selection of NS Bikes components, high performance Sram brakes, X-Fusion Velvet fork and a 1x10 Sram drivetrain with 42t climbing cog.
If cromoly is not on your list of priorities, this bike offers the same concept as the Eccentric at a much lower price. The alloy frame is strong and overbuilt, but at the same time light and responsive.
A careful selection of specs that include an aftermarket NS cockpit and the X-Fusion Velvet fork makes this an ideal package for any MTB enthusiast or a world class surfer...
One of the first Eccentric Alu bikes can be found in Hawaii. If you are into surfing you already know Jamie O'Brien. One of the youngest surfers to win the famous Pipe Masters and the star of many surfing films including Who is JOB series shreds it in the epic scenery between the surfing events.

If you are planning on building a trail bike you should also check the Eccentric framesets. For 2015 the geometry has been tweaked and the frames are now slightly longer. We also added a hole for stealth cable routing.
