The last race of the iXS European Downhill Cup is definatelly the one to remember. As this downhill event was a part of the Crankworx Europe festival the names on the starting list were really impressive and included the riders from the top World Cup teams including the current downhill World Champion - Gee Atherton.

After the UCI Downhill World Cup in Lenzerheide, Switzerland and unfortunate crash in the finals Sławek proved again that his impressive result from the qualification round (16th +4.627s) was not a one time thing.

The seeding runs went great and our NS Bikes team rider was 11th. 

The finals went even better and Sławek finished 8th just 11.280s behind the Loic Bruni who won the race.

"I'm very happy after the Crankworx iXS Downhill Cup in Les 2 Alpes. I compared myself among many good riders. Although taking 8th place wasn't so easy. The track was very destroyed and tones of dust made it very slippery."
